Strategic Partnerships

By strategically joining forces with like-minded organizations who also focus on the health and well-being of our target groups, we are able to do more good, for more people.  Below you’ll find a partial list of our many strategic partnerships that help promote a healthier community:
Strategic Partnerships Seniors
Our lead sponsorship of the Maine Senior Games supports events across the state where close to 700 athletes aged 45 and above compete in over 20 sports. The spirit of the Games—to encourage Maine seniors of all abilities to pursue healthier lives in a supportive community—aligns perfectly with our goal of keeping our senior population active, engaged, and as healthy as they can be.

Strategic Partnerships Military
As a proud sponsor of Honor Flight Maine, we help this local organization host military veterans on tours to Washington, DC war memorials built in honor of their service. WW II and terminally ill veterans of all conflicts are given top priority, followed by veterans of the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Strategic Partnerships Families
As lead sponsor of the American Heart Association (AHA) annual Heart Walk and Go Red for Women luncheon, Martin’s Point lends both financial and volunteer support to help the AHA promote heart health in our community. Dr. David Howes, Martin’s Point president and CEO, was selected as a Crystal Heart honoree at the 2017 Go Red luncheon, recognizing his outstanding service and leadership in promoting the health of our community.
